Why use peat free soil?


 

Peatlands around the world hold twice as much carbon than the world's forests and are a vital part of the fight against climate change. 

The extraction of peat releases carbon that equates to more than 5% of all human carbon emissions. 

The UK government is making steps to ban products containing peat in garden centres by 2024 but we can help now by purchasing peat free products.
